Connect
In Connections, add TikTok and sign in. Approve every permission on TikTok's screen, otherwise posting or reading your videos won't work.
TikTok as a source
TikTok tells Loopcast when you post and shares the caption and details, but its API doesn't hand over the video file itself. Upload the original once (the version without the TikTok watermark looks best anyway) and Loopcast takes it from there. See Sources that don't share the video file.
Note: TikTok photo posts and slideshows aren't available to apps through TikTok's API, so they can't be used as a source.
TikTok as a destination
When posting to TikTok you choose who can watch, whether comments, duets and stitches are allowed, and whether the post is a paid partnership. TikTok requires you to make these choices yourself, so there are no defaults for privacy.
Heads up: Until TikTok approves our posting access, TikTok only allows apps to post as private (only you can see it), and only for a small number of accounts per day. You can change the privacy in the TikTok app afterwards.
