Find out why
Open the post from the workflow, the Calendar or a notification. What went wrong explains the reason in plain words, and the timeline shows each attempt. Loopcast retries temporary problems on its own several times before marking a post as failed.
You also get an email for failed posts unless it's switched off in workspace settings.
Common causes
- The connection expired. Reconnect the account, then try again. See Reconnect an account.
- The video is too long or too large for the destination. Turn on Trim videos that are too long in the workflow settings, or cut a clip.
- The platform rejected the content, for example because of copyrighted music. Replace the audio or skip that post.
- The caption broke a platform rule, such as too many hashtags or mentions. Edit the caption and try again.
- A daily limit on the platform's side was reached. These reset within a day; try again later.
- The plan or trial ran out. Check Billing.
Try again
Once the cause is fixed, open the post and choose Try again. It goes back in line and keeps its place in your schedule where possible.
